Make temporary dir in tmpfs dir: ~/dev/shm/$(nonce)..bkgpslog/~ (~DIR_TMP~)
*** Initialize ~tar~ archive
**** Write ~bkgpslog~ version to ~$DIR_TMP/VERSION~
**** Create empty ~tar~ archive in ~DIR_OUT~ at ~PATHOUT_TAR~

Set output file name to:
